Markets in the US were on bad road yesterday. Stocks in US fell as a increase in producer prices raised inflation concerns and General Electric issued a flat outlook for 2010. Wayne Schmidt, chief investment officer of Gradient Investments in Minnesota said: "the PPI data was a little bit worrisome and maybe just whatever comes out of the Fed -- there might be a little bit of concern about that."
The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 49.05 points to end at 10,452.00. The S&P Index fell 6.18 points to 1,107.93 and the NASDAQ lost 11.05 points to 2,201.05.
